APIA Scholarship Application 2020/2021

APIA Scholarship:- APIA Scholars formerly APIASF, is the nation’s largest non-profit provider of college scholarships to Asian and Pacific Islander Americans (APIA). Their mission is to make a difference in the lives of APIA students by providing them with resources that increase their access to higher education.
APIA Scholars provides scholarships to underserved APIA students with a special focus on those who live at or below the poverty level, or are otherwise of low socioeconomic status; are the first in their families to attend college; are representative of the APIA community’s diversity, (geographically and ethnically}, especially those ethnicities that have been underrepresented on college campuses due to limited access and opportunity; and have placed a strong emphasis on community service and leadership as well as solid academic achievement.

Number of Awards: The number of awards varies.

Award Amount: The grant value is up to $20,000.


  • Must attend an accredited college or university in the U.S
  • Be of APIA ethnicity
  • Applicants must be registered as a citizen of the U.S, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, or the Republic of Palau


In order to meet the requirements, applicants need to show;

  • Excellent performances in academics (by having a minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale) and community service
  • FAFSA (Federal Application For Student Aid) document.
