TWU Scholarships 2020: Texas Woman’s University awards more than $10 million in scholarships annually which includes merit-based, departmental, endowed, and need-based scholarships. The University is accepting applications for New Entering Students for Fall 2020.

Texas Woman’s University is a public university known for its contributions and leadership in the fields of nursingeducation, the health care professionsnutrition, the arts and sciences and business.

Texas Woman’s University offers a variety of financial aid options for students, including grants, loans, scholarships, and student employment opportunities. Financial aid packages will usually include more than one type of aid.

To be considered for scholarships, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Have all required admission applications and academic transcripts in the TWU Admission’s Office or Graduate Admission’s Office by the application deadline
  • Enrol full-time (minimum of 12 hours for undergraduate, 9 hours for graduate students and 6 hours for part-time graduate students or graduate assistants)

How to apply for scholarships

  • Apply to TWU through the Apply Texas application. Wait approximately 3 days for your application to be downloaded and TWU to assign an ID#.
  • Create your Pioneer Portal Account.
  • Go to the TWU Pioneer Scholarship System and apply for scholarships.
  • Complete General Application and Recommended Opportunities. After submitting the general application, Click on Other Recommended Opportunities at the left of the screen to see the options that are available for you. Click Apply next to the scholarships for which you are applying and be sure to note the deadline.

You do not need to be accepted or admitted to a program to be eligible to apply for scholarships. However, scholarships will not be awarded until you are accepted. Be sure to get all of your required documents such as transcripts and test scores submitted as soon as possible. This is information that will help narrow your scholarship options and help you be “auto-matched” for possible New Student Scholarships.
