University Canada West Scholarships for International Students

The University Canada West in Canada offers entrance awards, scholarships, bursaries and grants for international applicants approved for admission to become new students. The grants is open for the year 2020 -2021 academic year A separate application form for continuing awards is available on the student portal (MyUCW).

University Canada West Scholarships Details

Available Awards, Scholarships, Bursaries and Grants

A) MBA Foundation Study Grant

This grant has an award value of $5,000.00 CAD. It is disbursed and pro-rated as tuition credit to the final four
(4) courses of the MBA program.

Eligibility:
This grant is available to applicants approved for admission to the Master of Business Administration
(MBA) program with the requirement to complete the preparatory MBA foundation courses.
Applicants must complete and submit this form along with the following:

    • Personal Statement (approx. 500 words): Describing how the MBA program will contribute to their
      long-term career goals.

Applicants may also submit the following optional document(s):

    • Professional reference letter(s).
    • Proof of participation in community engagement and/or volunteering.

Consideration will be primarily based on the following:

  • The date of their admission to UCW; and
  • The merits of the Personal Statement and, if provided, supporting documents.
    ii) Continuance:
    Recipients must complete the Master of Business Administration program within 36 months of starting the
    MBA Foundation program and remain in Good Academic Standing and have no disciplinary sanctions
    (academic or conduct) during the time of their disbursements.

B ) Live Our Vision of Education (L.O.V.E.) Canada Undergraduate Scholarship

This scholarship has an award value of $5,000.00 CAD. It is disbursed and pro-rated as a tuition credit
towards the first sixty (60) credits of an undergraduate program.

Eligibility:

This scholarship is available to applicants approved for admission to the Associate of Arts, Bachelor of
Arts or Bachelor of Commerce program.
Applicants must complete and submit this form along with the following:

    • Personal Statement (approx. 500 words): Describing how the undergraduate program will
      contribute to their long-term career goals.

Applicants may also submit the following optional document(s):

    • Professional reference letter(s).
    • Proof of participation in community engagement and/or volunteering.

Consideration will be primarily based on the following:

  • The date of their admission to UCW; and
  • The merits of the Personal Statement and, if provided, supporting documents.
  •  Available funding.
    ii) Continuance:
    Recipients must remain in Good Academic Standing and have no disciplinary sanctions (academic
    or conduct) during the time of their disbursements
