University of Nebraska Omaha Scholarships 2020

The University of Nebraska Omaha is Nebraska’s metropolitan university — a university with strong academic values and significant relationships with our community that transforms and improves the lives of those on a local, regional, national, and international level.

The University of Nebraska Omaha is a public research university in Omaha, Nebraska. Founded in 1908 by faculty from the Omaha Presbyterian Theological Seminary as a private non-sectarian college, the university was originally known as the University of Omaha.

Many of the scholarships listed below are offered to graduating high school seniors who will be first-year students. There are several hundred additional scholarships not listed here that are awarded by the Office of Financial Support and Scholarships to first-year students and returning students.

Outside Scholarships

Scholarship Eligibility

  • must maintain full-time enrollment at UNO to be eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants must have a minimum ACT score (or SAT equivalent) of 28-29 and either rank in the top 25% of their class OR have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • The scholarship is renewable for three additional years if the student maintains full-time enrollment and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Students must be seeking their first bachelor’s degree, Graduate Program or ILUNO Intensive English
